Epic Games Store: Free Games – 9th April 2020

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments is (as you’d probably expect) a detective game where your observation skills are put to the test. I haven’t played it yet, but I always worry about these games being too linear and only having a “pass or fail” outcome. It sounds like there might be some moral decisions to make along the way, which should open up some interesting options. I’ll definitely be checking it out now that I can get it for free!

Close to the Sun

Close to the Sun has always made me think of the first Bioshock game, and that’s not a bad thing! TBH I don’t really know anything about it, other than it’s a horror game. But the story is centred around the rivalry between Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison, which is always a good base for a decent story.
