My Time At Portia

I haven’t played My Time at Portia, but I have a few streamer friends who have played it and absolutely loved it. It seems to have bits of both Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley, which is probably enough of a recommendation by itself! I have mixed feelings on these types of games, because I always feel like repeating the same tasks over and over seems a little bit too close to real life for my liking!

That said, Portia also has combat dungeons, making it a bit like Moonlighter and Alchemy Garden – both games I really enjoyed. So maybe switching between chatting to people, farming and monster killing is exactly my bag. And like I always say – if it’s free you have nothing to lose by giving it a shot. This time that adage will apply to me as well, so I’ll definitely be trying this out myself at some point.
